Neighbors mobilized in demand of justice for the case of the young woman who was abused

The demonstration, organized by the organizations Las Rojas (MST), Movimiento Mayo, Lealtad and Comisión de Derechos Humanos de Munro, together with teacher Micaela Iaconis, was concentrated at the corner of the intersection of Mitre and Vélez Sarsfield streets, with signs that said “Thank you that we ask for justice and not revenge” and “If you touch one of us, they touch us all.” Iaconis, a professor of Comprehensive Sexual Education (ESI) in Munro, told Télam that “abuse is pandemic, let alone rape, so we need public policies and the implementation of the ESI.”

The teacher of the Institute of Integral Education of Munro took charge of the organization after receiving calls from alumni after learning about the case.” We must relocate the culture of rape, talk transversally about this issue and from the initial education, “said the clinical psychologist. ” We need it not to happen anymore, and that is why we work on prevention,” he said, adding that “the Micaela law and the gender perspective must be present in all areas, especially in educational institutions.” The case of group abuse was discovered by a neighbor who, noticing the suspicious attitude of the accused, alerted the police who arrived a few minutes later and rescued the victim, who was in a state of drowsiness and was transferred to a care center in the area. The six detainees were identified by police as Angel Pascual Ramos (23), Tomas Dominguez (21), Lautaro Pasotti (24), Ignacio Retondo (22), Alexis Cuzzoni (20) and Franco Lykan (24). Retondo and Lykan, as reported, live in the area where the mobilization took place. The detainees were accused of the crime of “sexual abuse”, at the disposal of the Criminal and Correctional Court 21, in charge of Marcos Fernández.
