“To be clear, the feminist movement emerged from the left (…) Let us not forget: feminism is not part of conservatism,” she said during the Meeting of Women for the Fourth Transformation, held at the Monument to the Revolution and in which, according to local government figures, about 15,000 attendees attended.

“Suddenly, the conservative movement or the big businessmen who have financed the slanders against our movement, have wanted to establish themselves as the defenders of women’s struggles: false, nothing more false, nothing more hypocritical,” she said.
“Who made the first Joint Cabinet in the history of Mexico?, who proposed a woman in the Bank of Mexico?, who has proposed more women in the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation? Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Who has proposed more women in the Council of the Judiciary? Andrés Manuel López Obrador,” he said.

During her speech she questioned who was it who called women who fight for their rights “old age”? The conservatives, he replied, and continued: Who was the president of the Republic who called women a “two-legged washing machine”?
Claudia Sheinbaum recognized the work of all women and assured that the fourth transformation fights for the well-being of the people, to reduce great inequalities, for justice and to strengthen women’s rights.
And again he sent a message to the INE about the revocation of the mandate and reiterated his support for the president: “Those who say that we are violating the electoral laws, let them first promote democracy. From here we make manifest: Mr. President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, that it is heard well and that it is heard loudly: Here are women who are convinced, defend and act for the Fourth Transformation of Public Life in Mexico! Mr. President, you are not alone! You’re not alone! You’re not alone!
Alert! Alert! Mexico will have a President!”
The event was to talk about the struggle of women; however, the cries of the guests focused on the official to whom they said: President, President! Alert! Alert! Mexico will have a President!”
The event was attended by the governors of Baja California, Marina del Pilar; from Campeche, Layda Sansores; from Colima, Indira Vizcaíno; of Guerrero, Evelyn Salgado, and of Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuéllar, as well as the head of the Interior, Olga Sánchez Cordero.
The governor of Campeche, Layda Sansores, said that Sheinbaum is the one who heads “the group of women who will transform the country.”
“We will always carry the pride of being the first army that Claudia Sheinbaum founded, that army of incomparables that we started,” said Sansores after highlighting the “irrefutable honesty and talent” of the head of government.
The governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar, invited the girls to dare to dream and be whatever they want to be, including reaching the Presidency of the Republic.
The local deputy of Yucatan, Rocío Natali Barrera Puc, assured that Mexico will have the first woman president.
“Let all of Mexico know, you have to be alert, alert, Mexico will have a president!” he exclaimed.
