Man arrested for stealing more than one million pesos from a woman in the AICM

A man was arrested for his probable participation in the crime of theft of more than one million pesos from a woman at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM). Police intelligence agents arrested the subject, wanted by authorities in Mexico City. According to information from several media, the agents searched for the alleged perpetrator in the Santa María la Ribera neighborhood, in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office.The agents indicate that he was located aboard a white car. They state that he committed a robbery to a person who was walking. They indicated that while they were carrying out their corresponding patrols they were requested by a 37-year-old woman, who said that a subject threatened her with a knife and stripped her of cash. She added that the man was traveling with plates from the State of Mexico and later fled the place, after assaulting her.
