Man dies after being run over in Mazatlan, Sinaloa

Mazatlan.- A man died hit by a car on Saturday night, at the intersection of Libramiento Colosio and Juan Pablo II Avenue, in Mazatlan, Sinaloa. The accident was around 10:30 p.m. At the moment no data of the identity of the deceased was given, it was only commented that he brought a work jacket and a backpack. He was hit by a white Tsuru Nissan car that apparently came from south to north by Libramiento Colosio.The alleged driver of the car told a traffic agent that he was coming with a green light, when the pedestrian crossed him and could not help but hit him. With his body, the unfortunate man smashed half of the Tsuru’s front windshield. The pedestrian was left dead in the middle of the aforementioned intersection of avenues. Elements of the Red Cross checked the victim and could only confirm his death. They also treated a young man who came as a co-pilot on the Tsuru, as he suffered injuries when they hit the pedestrian.
