A Bolivian citizen and former candidate for deputy in his country was arrested in the Buenos Aires town of San Martín, accused of having murdered and beheaded his partner. According to the investigation carried out by the Justice of that country, Choque was found murdered on March 7 in a home in the Railway area of the city of Potosí.
As a result of the femicide and according to the investigation carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office of Crimes Against Life of the Public Ministry of the Bolivian city of Potosí, Montenegro was arrested as accused of the crime. The detainee was brought to justice and they were awaiting the corresponding proceedings in order to extradite them. According to Bolivian media reports, Montenegro had been a candidate for deputy for Bolivia’s Front for Victory (FPV), for which candidate Chi Hyun Chung ran in the 2020 presidential elections.
