A new anniversary of the 1976 coup d’état is commemorated

Human Rights organizations, political groups and political, social, trade union and cultural organizations return to the streets and squares throughout the country to commemorate the 46th anniversary of the coup d’état of March 24, 1976, in tribute to the victims of the military dictatorship and to demand justice in the different trials that are still underway. It will be the first mobilization for March 24 after two years without calls as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.The main act of the day will be in the Plaza de Mayo, in the Federal Capital, where there will be two acts. The first will be from the Trotskyist left organizations, which will begin marching at 11:30 from the Obelisk and will celebrate the event at 3 p.m., with a set of slogans that include the rejection of the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Once the act is over, they will vacate the square and enter the columns of the organizations linked to Kirchnerism and Peronism, in conjunction with the historical organizations of Human Rights.
The division of the Frente de Todos will be moved to March 24. La Cámpora and other groups linked to the Kirchnerist group will concentrate from 9 in the former ESMA and will march to Plaza de Mayo from 15.The organizations linked to the Albertist wing of the Government, such as Barrios de Pie and Movimiento Evita, will concentrate on the main arteries of downtown Buenos Aires. President Alberto Fernández, meanwhile, will lead a tribute to missing scientists, which will be held at the Ministry of Science and Technology at 10 in the morning.
