Searching mothers find new clues

Tlajomulco, Jalisco.- A farm with firearm casings, another with indications, many parks, vacant lots and discarded farms, was the advance of the second, three days, of the second brigade of the Mothers Seekers of Jalisco and Mothers Seekers of Sonora, on Saturday, April 2, 2022.The work was carried out in the municipality of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco, in the Chulavista subdivisions (different phases) and Villa Fontana Aqua Phase 6, the latter being where the Searching Mothers found signs such as firearm casings, on one farm and an identification on another. With shovels, picks, rods and a lot of energy, the Searching Mothers of Sonora, together with the Searching Mothers of Jalisco, as well as the recently formed collective of Young Seekers of Jalisco toured farm after farm, wasteland after wasteland and park after park, in order to find their disappeared. Regardless of the terrain, passing through pastures, among garbage or abandoned farms, the Searching Mothers looked for any hint of discovery to find “their treasures” as they call their disappeared. Remember that yesterday was the first of three that this brigade is carried out, and resulted in the discovery of 20 bags with human remains found in just one abandoned farm in Colonia Chulavista, also in the municipality of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga.Cebe mention that this is the first brigade of Las Madres Buscadoras in Jalisco, in which they have already been accompanied by state, national and municipal authorities, such as the Guadalajara Police, the Jalisco Special Search Commission, the State Police, the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences (Semefo) and the Nacional.La Guard, the recent brigade of the Searching Mothers was held from the first to the third of April in Jalisco, a state that is among the ones with the highest number of disappeared people, counting, to date, with more than 14 thousand complaints. The first brigade of the Mothers Seekers of Sonora, together with the Mothers Seekers of Jalisco carried out from February 21 to 26, resulted in the discovery of 81 bodies of lifeless people and a total of 221 bags with possible human remains without the accompaniment of the authorities. After the findings, it is also important to mention, that a process of recognition of the remains of people found lifeless is followed; the Searching Mothers have denounced that this process is very slow, lasting up to a year and a half so that the identifications by DNA tests can be made by the Semefo, they ask the authorities to take necessary actions to expedite this process.
