Alberto Fernández receives Gabriel Boric at Casa Rosada

President Alberto Fernández will receive his Chilean counterpart Gabriel Boric on Monday, as part of the first official trip of the new trans-Andean president. Boric will arrive at 10 a.m. at the Casa Rosada, where he will be received by a cordon of honor, and then, at 11:15, he will lead with Fernández the signing of bilateral agreements and provide a joint statement to the press at the Bicentennial Museum of Casa Rosada.Then, there will be a meeting of both entourages in the Eva Perón room, in which the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, Santiago Cafiero, will participate, for Argentina; Defense, Jorge Taiana; Economy, Martín Guzmán; Culture, Tristan Bauer; and the Minister of Women, Gender and Diversity, Elizabeth Gómez Alcorta. The Argentine delegation will also include the secretaries of Strategic Affairs, Gustavo Beliz; Human Rights, Horacio Pietragalla Corti; Energy, Dario Martinez; and the ambassador to Chile, Rafael Bielsa. The ministers of both countries will hold an exchange on the joint news, which will be joined by the presidents after the bilateral meeting. The Chilean President’s agenda will continue at 3 p.m. in the National Congress, where he will be received by the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa, and the Provisional President of the Senate, Claudia Ledesma Abdala. After signing the Book of Honor, Boric will participate in an official photo and will hold a meeting with his legislative delegation with the parliamentary authorities of both chambers. Then he will attend the Palace of Justice, where he will be received by the vice president of the Supreme Court, Carlos Rosenkrantz, with whom he will hold a meeting to which two other members of the highest court, Juan Carlos Maqueda and Ricardo Lorenzetti, will join. Meanwhile, for Chile, the president of the Trans-Andean Supreme Court of Justice, Juan Fuentes, will participate.At night, Fernández and Boric will attend a cultural show at the Kirchner Cultural Center, where they will enjoy a concert in which artists such as Manuel García, Inti Illimani and Víctor Heredia, among others, will participate. Later, the Argentine president will offer a dinner at the CCK in honor of his Chilean counterpart. Tomorrow, Boric will inaugurate at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry the business forum of the Argentina-Chile Trade Committee, in which about 50 businessmen from both countries will participate. Then, the Chilean president will move to the Space for Memory and for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights (former Esma) to exchange with Buscarita Roa, a member of Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo of Chilean origin. The tour of the trans-Andean president will end with a meeting with Chileans residing in Argentina that will take place at the embassy of his country in Buenos Aires.Boric arrived this Sunday in Argentina with his entourage formed, among others, by the ministers of Foreign Affairs, Antonia Urrejola; of National Defense, Maya Fernández Allende; women and gender equity, Antonia Orellana; of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, Julieta Brodsky; the Minister of Energy, Claudio Huepe.Also the Undersecretary of International Economic Relations, José Miguel Ahumada; the head of Advisors of the Cabinet of the Presidency, Lucía Dammert, the ambassador to Argentina, Bárbara Figueroa, the president of the Senate, Álvaro Elizalde, and his counterpart from the Chamber of Deputies, Raúl Soto, while also arrived with Boric deoposition parliamentarians such as Paulina Núñez of National Renewal, Eric Aedo of the Christian Democracy and the leader of the Independent Democratic Union,  Javier Macaya, as well as Chilean businessmen.
