Days after consultation, they hold a rally for AMLO at monumento a la Revolución

Four days before the referendum to revoke the mandate and in the middle of the electoral ban, local deputies, mayors and the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, called a rally with the argument of promoting the electricity reform initiative proposed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
However, thousands of supporters arrived at the Monument to the Revolution from 2:00 p.m., more with messages of support for the president than with arguments in favor of the presidential initiative of electricity reform.
They launched the slogans #QueSigaAMLO, “You are not alone” and “It is an honor to be with Obrador” and, four hours later, after the arrival of the first contingents, there were no more people.

From Neza, Venustiano Carranza, Xochimilco, Iztacalco and Gustavo A. Madero, Morenistas arrived with all the baton to support the “ratification” of the mandate that will be held on April 10.
López Obrador’s botargas, harlequins, people with megaphones and banners promoting the recall consultation stood out in the assembly convened by the head of government during working hours.

Among the officials present at the rally are the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum; the director of the Economic Culture Fund, Paco Ignacio Taibo II, and the mayors of Tláhuac, Berenice Hernández, and of Iztacalco, Armando Quintero.
At 5:31 p.m., Sheinbaum even posted on Twitter a video with excerpts from his press conference this morning, when he spoke in favor of the recall exercise.

#Video I leave you with two reflections on the revocation of the mandate. We do want there to be popular consultations, and whoever does not want to, to go to an authoritarian country. Participate this April 10th! #SíALaReformaEléctrica pic.twitter.com/BenCxpVQKy
