A 30-year-old woman was beaten to death Saturday night in the town of Maria Grande, Entre Ríos province. According to police sources, the victim’s current partner was arrested for femicide. The incident occurred in a vacant lot located in Carlos Gardel e Intendente Taborda, in the municipality near the city of Paraná, which the police attended after the call of the neighbors for a shouting argument between two people. According to the sources, upon arriving at the scene, the police officers found a woman, identified as María Belén Olote (30), beaten to death, so they gave intervention to the Homicide staff and the Gender Violence Prosecutor’s Office of Paraná to work at the scene of the crime.
