“If all my life I will have to keep looking for her, I will”: Debanhi’s dad

Mario Escobar, the father of 18-year-old Debanhi Escobar, who has been missing since April 8 in Escobedo, Nuevo León, said the family hopes their only daughter is well.
The parents of the young woman gave an interview to the media on the morning of Monday, April 11.
“My wife and I keep hope because she is our only daughter, I can’t say no, if all my life I’m going to have to keep looking for her, I will. We have not slept, we have not eaten because we think that if we taste a taco and that she can not eat, then it would be very difficult for us, “said Debanhi’s father.

He added that the family does not understand how it was that they were able to leave their daughter alone on the road.
Meanwhile, Debanhi’s mother said that both are experiencing great anguish at the moment.

On Sunday, the head of the Local Commission for the Search for Missing Persons, María de la Luz Balderas, indicated that the state government activated an emergency search to find the young Debanhi Susana Escobar Bazaldua, who was reported missing in the municipality of Escobedo.
From the personal Instagram account of the missing young woman, which relatives have taken to spread information to be able to find her, the last image of her was shared.
“For people wondering if this photograph is real, IF IT IS REAL, it was the last time Debanhi was seen, we have this photo since the morning of April 9,” the family wrote on Instagram.
His disappearance
Debanhi was left alone by two friends with whom she arrived at a meeting. The two young women went home and called a trusted contact to pick up Debanhi; such a contact works as a platform driver, but the work was done out of operation.
At some point, the driver abandoned Debanhi in the middle of the road to Laredo, took a picture of him and sent it to friends, who then sent it to the family.
So far it is unknown what motivated the young woman to be abandoned in the middle of the road.
