A woman who was driving aboard her vehicle ran over a horse that was loose on National Route No. 40 in the place Las Golondrinas, between the towns of El Hoyo, in Chubut, and El Bolsón, in Río Negro.The event occurred this Monday morning. Due to the violence of the impact, the animal was embedded inside the vehicle and died instantly. The driver, meanwhile, was miraculously saved and suffered only minor injuries.

The images of the crash are shocking and show how the horse destroyed the front and part of the roof of the utility being completely embedded in it. According to the local media Radio 3 Cadena Patagonia, the driver of bakery profession was heading from the city of Chubut to the rionegrina and traveled with the seat belt on and complying with all safety regulations. Chubut Police, Firefighters and Traffic personnel from the municipality of Lago Puelo intervened in the place to control the circulation on that road. In addition, municipal personnel tried to remove the vehicle with a backhoe, said the newspaper La Opinión Austral.
