Alberto Samid announced that he was released

After a presentation by his lawyer, Yanina Nicoletti, Alberto Samid was released on Wednesday.   The businessman communicated the news through his social networks with his characteristic language: “To my colleagues and friends: I tell you that from today I was released. As always, count on me. Long live Perón,” he closed.
Recall that Samid was sentenced to four years in prison for tax evasion in 2019, in the middle of a televised operation. Samid had been dismissed in this case but in August 2016 the Chamber of Cassation revoked his dismissal and ordered that he be elevated to oral trial. After the ruling of the justice that was signed by the judges Mariano Borinsky, Javier Carbajo and Eduardo Riggi, Samid, and other members of their family, were sentenced to four years in prison under the figure of member of an illicit association that evaded taxes in their refrigerators in the 90’s. For health reasons, the businessman obtained the benefit of house arrest, while his sister Alicia, Teresa Fornasier and Claudio Pileo were sentenced to three years in prison in suspense and María Susana Moreno to three years and six months of effective imprisonment. However, on June 21, 2021, the businessman was scrutinized violating house arrest when he showed up at a restaurant with the intention of eating there. Neighbors filmed Samid who left the establishment in a moderate manner.
