The boa Chirita, an attraction in the port of Altata, Navolato

Sinaloa.- José Manuel García Mascareño, originally from the port of Altata, Navolato, took advantage of the Easter holiday season to go for a walk along the boardwalk and different tourist spots of this place, in order to publicize his work and thus be able to earn some sustenance for his relative. Manuel, better known as the “Extragagordo”, walks throughout Altata accompanied by Chirita, a boa constrictor snake, is a species of the family boidae, and the subfamily boinae.  This reptile is currently the only species in the genus boa and reaches up to five meters long. The native of Altata mentioned that Chirita is not the only snake he has had, because the love for them began as a child and he has always liked to handle them. He assures that when he gets to have a lot of contact with them, he can enchant them and teach them to pose for photos, which is what tourists are looking for when they find it in the port of Altata.Read more: In 3 days of Holy Week 500 tons of garbage are collected on the beaches of NavolatoAturist Atractivo José Manuel pointed out that Chirita is the snake that has lasted the longest, having already three years with her, because people already locate her and when they go to the boardwalk of Altata they seek to take a souvenir with her; therefore, this vacation has not been wasted and went out to look for greater possibilities of sustenance and thus be able to maintain it and, in turn, also earn a living.” I already have more than three years with her driving it. Since I was little I have it and we always walk together. My phrase is: ‘if you went to Altata and did not take a picture with Chirita and Mr. Extragagordo, what chin… were you?” he said. He added that weekends are when he mostly goes out on the streets, because it is when there is the greatest flow of visitors in the port and so he can work next to his snake.
