Women’s football: Racing beat Independiente

Racing Club won 1-0 against Independiente in the so-called Avellaneda classic, which was played at the Libertadores de América-Ricardo Enrique Bochini stadium, and is one of the leaders of the Women’s Football Championship of the First Division of the AFA together with River.In the second match of the day, for the ninth date of the contest, those led by Agustín Benchimol overcame “Las Diablas” with a goal from Rocío Bueno, 18 minutes into the second half.

For its part, Independiente was able to equalize the match in the 32nd minute of the complement, when it had a penalty in favor, but Karen Osorio kicked over the crossbar. With this victory, Racing reached 22 points like River, and both surpass by one the UAI Urquiza, which will play tomorrow against SAT, and by two to Boca, which will face Excursionistas.
