A man accused of abusing his partner’s three daughters in Tucumán is arrested

According to judicial sources, a man was arrested during a raid on a house located south of Tucumán, accused of having sexually abused his partner’s three daughters, minors. The arrest of the accused was carried out this Friday, in a raid ordered by the Investigation Unit in Crimes against Sexual Integrity of Concepción, in charge of Héctor Fabián Assad.De according to the spokesmen of the case, while the case progresses, the prosecutor requested preventive detention for the aggressor, a measure that was granted by the intervening judge for a period of 35 days. In his request, Assad relied on the procedural risks of flight and hindering the investigation. The case originated after the aunt of the victims made a complaint in January of this year before the Tucuman justice. According to the woman, the eldest of her nieces, 16, had told her that the stepfather sexually abused her since she was 12 in the house where they lived, in the city of Juan B. Alberdi, and that he had not dared to say anything before out of fear. In the statement, the teens’ aunt said she later learned that the younger sisters had also suffered the attacks. The sources said that the complaint was extended by the mother of the minors, who said that she did not know what was happening with her daughters and her partner and that it was the family member who told her. After making the complaint, a restraining order was issued against the aggressor, provisionally accused of sexual abuse with carnal access to the detriment of the two oldest daughters of his partner and simple sexual abuse to the detriment of the youngest, all aggravated by having been committed against children under 18 years of age, and taking advantage of the situation of pre-existing coexistence, according to Télam.
