“Don’t worry honey”, with Florence Pugh and Harry Styles: its devastating and brilliant trailer has arrived

We were promised high-voltage images and so it was. New Line Cinema presented the long-awaited official trailer for “Don’t Worry Darling,” starring Oscar nominee Florence Pugh and Grammy winner Harry Styles.La new film by Olivia Wilde (“Booksmart,” 2019), who in addition to directing, acts in the film, had revealed this first teaser at CinemaCon – the prominent film event where companies make several announcements – in Las Vegas,  and although the images arrived in the last hours in Latin America, you could already feel the thermometer of reactions in social networks: where they ensured scenes of strong impact, and they complied.

In the trailer you can see the idyllic life of a marriage in the ’50s, the starting point from where the director begins to tell the story, from the perspective of Alice (Pugh; “Little Women”, “Midsommar”), a housewife who begins to be suspicious about the matters in which her husband, Jack (Styles), works, which will unbalance her social status and life, which like a little house of letters in front of a breeze, will begin to crumble. While husbands spend every day inside Project Victoria headquarters, working on ‘progressive material development’, their wives are dedicated to enjoying the beauty, luxury and debauchery of their community. Life is perfect, with all the needs of the residents covered by the company. All they ask for in return is discretion and an unquestionable commitment to the cause of the city of Victoria,” his synopsis reads.

A sensory advance that with well-lit fragments appeals to a dream life, contrasting with the feeling of suffocation that its protagonist will feel, thus transmitting it in the public.
