Alfaro boasts second place in Jalisco in employment

Guadalajara, Jalisco.- The governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, presumes that the state he governs appears in second place in the national table of formal job creation so far this year, this on the afternoon of May 5, 2022.Jalisco appears in second place with a total of 34 thousand 716 new jobs created, according to the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), below the first place that is Nuevo León, with 38 thousand 625 and above the third place, which is Baja California, with 30 thousand 662 new formal jobs created. The data for the state also represent a growth of 4 thousand jobs more than the same period of the previous year, which, although they are favorable data, factors must be taken into account such as that the year 2021, in the state, and the country, was lived with much more severe restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.The president also stressed that the sectors with the highest growth in the period were that of services and the processing, trade, transport and communications industry.
