Rafael Nadal raises his record of titles at Roland Garros to 14

Paris, France. Spain’s Rafael Nadal (N.5) beat Casper Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 on Sunday in the final of Roland Garros and added his 14th Musketeers Cup, increasing his own record of triumphs in the Parisian Grand Slam. With this title and the Australian Open won at the beginning of February, Nadal also increases his record of victories in Grand Slam tournaments to 22, two more than his two great rivals, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer. In the historical record of the Parisian tournament in the ‘Open era’ (since 1968), Nadal continues to increase distances with respect to the second, the former Swedish tennis player Björn Borg, who added six titles between 1974 and 1981.
