The Ministry of Health detected 18 thousand 539 cases of COVID-19 in the last week, for a cumulative of 5 million 789 thousand 401, since the beginning of the epidemic.
According to the daily technical report, from May 29 to June 4, an average of 1,684 infections per day were reported, with an increase in Aguascalientes, Baja California, Campeche, Mexico City, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Nuevo León, Sinaloa and Yucatan, followed by Baja California Sur, Colima, Durango, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Quintana Roo and Veracruz.

For the agency, the trend “has had no impact on deaths or hospitalizations,” which are 3% percent for general beds and 1% with a mechanical ventilator.

However, he warned that the technical reports will be reissued on a daily basis and no longer weekly.

As for vaccination, as of June 5, 208 million 765 thousand 211 doses have been supplied to 88 million 207 thousand 4 people.
Of that amount, 53 million 77 thousand 125 correspond to reinforcements for people over 18 years of age, a coverage of 66%, according to the Health authorities.
