Mario Breuer and Dany Jiménez present: “60 Years of Rock Culture”

Rock has not only been the soundtrack of different generations since the end of the Second World War, but it became the reflection of different cultural and social manifestations of young people that made the genre a place of belonging and gave them a perspective on life that, in many cases, remains until today. The journey that this culture proposes from the mid-50s onwards, is a transit between styles, trends and avant-garde that formed a space where the different generations invented their own world.
Through this experience, the journalist specialized in music Dany Jiménez and the famous producer and sound engineer Mario Breuer propose to travel more than 60 years of rock music in Argentina and the world in an experience that will begin with the post-war American blues and that reaches our days. The meeting will cross genres and styles such as blues, folk, rock, pop, country, electronic, progressive rock, rap, hard rock, reggae, punk, psychedelia, jazz-rock, soul, funk, glam rock, synth-pop, dark, new wave, heavy metal and experimental music. Between them they will travel a historical and sound journey, relying on songs, from the birth of the blues to the present day in a space for those who love to listen to music, without having to be an expert on the subject. The meeting will be at Cervecería 23 Ríos Craftbeer (Luján de Cuyo) and tickets can be obtained through Entradaweb.com
