The company KIMVNTeatro in its 13 years of artistic career, has made a deep rescue of the memory, orality, and defense of the human rights of the Mapuche people through the Performing Arts in Chile. Since May of this year, they have carried out digital activities in conjunction with the Violeta Parra Museum and this month they return in person with “ÑUKE” and the realization of a NÜTRAM (conversation) that invites dialogue on the link between the Mapuche people, the work of Violeta Parra and the constituent process. The meeting will be attended by the professor and constituent, Elisa Loncon; researchers Paula Miranda and Allison Ramay; singer-songwriter Elizabeth Morris, and band ÜL KIMVN.
During the second semester KIMVNTeatro is preparing to perform the “RuKa KIMVN Intercultural Artistic School”, the premiere of the film “ÑI PU TREMEN” and its next scenic creation “IXOFIJ MONGEN” to be released in January 2023.

“ÑUKE” An intimate look at the Mapuche resistance
Saturday 11 June / 12:00 h.
Ñuke, mother in Mapuzungun, installs from a daily and intimate look, the story of a Mapuche mother and family who live in a community in resistance that has experienced violation of their human rights. History invites us to reflect on the territory, memory, the transmission of the Mapuzugun language, the education of Mapuche children and youth, and what it means to live day by day in a climate of violence that crosses the imaginary and interpersonal relationships of a family and community. The play takes place inside a Mapuche Ruka and invites the audience to connect through the senses with the territorial and cultural demands of a community.

The work of Violeta Parra does not cease to move us by her visionary look at the intangible heritage of the Mapuche People. Much of his work, and his greatest creations were inspired by rhythms and melodies typical of Mapuche music and songs.
KIMVNTeatro invites the community to a Nütram (conversation) to share reflections on the connection of Violeta Parra and the Mapuche people with the authors of the book “Violeta en Wallmapu”. We will have the valuable presence of Paula Miranda, Allyson Ramae and Elisa Loncon, who in addition to being one of the authors of this book has been president of the Constitutional Convention.
In this Nütram, we will talk about the importance of promoting the valuation of first nations knowledge to build a more just, inclusive and multicultural country. Finally we will enjoy the live music of ÜL KIMVN, soundtrack of the company KIMVN Teatro and the outstanding singer-songwriter Elizabeth Morris.
