Containers stolen in Manzanillo had no gold and silver

Gustavo Adrián Joya Cervera, security spokesman in Colima, released new information about the theft of containers from the port of Manzanillo.
The official said that in reality there were 16 containers stolen and that so far none contain precious metals such as gold or silver.
“Someone leaked the information regarding the content, but this has no basis yet in our folder, because in the investigation folder only three companies have denounced,” he said in an interview with Ciro Gómez Leyva.

According to the official, so far they have only identified the contents of some containers.
“There are 16 containers… four containers had air conditioning, one company claims containers with tires and another claims peach concentrate.”
Joya Cervera said that one of these companies, the one that owns the peach concentrate, is called Grupo Oro and that perhaps that’s where the confusion came from.

“I want to believe that this gave rise to the fact that the content could be a mineral of this nature.”
Despite this information, hours earlier, Joya Cervera gave a press conference and confirmed that several containers had been stolen from the port of Manzanillo.
When asked by the media, he said that the people who perpetrated the robbery had time to choose the type of container because some of the stolen ones had precious metals.
“It’s precious metals, some other attachments, even air conditioners, some of these goods,” he said.
“There is talk of pieces of gold and silver”
“It’s right, it’s right,” the official said.
