A sector of the PJ banks Aníbal Fernández as president

The president of the National Front of Peronist Groups, Marcelo Puella, said today that the Minister of National Security, Aníbal Fernández, may be a possible candidate for president for the Frente de Todos in the 2023 elections.In that sense, he expressed “I do not know a single Peronist who does not respect him, who does not admire him. Hannibal has plenty of experience and ability.” According to Puella, the National official “earned respect at the expense of work and demonstration of management.”

In this way, the name of the Minister of Security is added to others who are also as possible presidential candidates. Even among them are those of President Alberto Fernández himself, such as that of the vice president, Cristina Kirchner.In turn, another official who would be willing to play for the presidential race within the Frente de Todos is the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro. For his part, Jorge Capitanich, governor of Chaco, also showed his interest in leading a national project. At the same time, the new Minister of Productive Development, Daniel Scioli, would also be looking forward to a rematch. On the other hand, the Chief of Staff, Juan Manzur, would be the candidate proposed by the League of Governors. However, the Tucuman gave no indication that this will be so.
