Ryan Gosling revealed he wants to play Ghost Rider for Marvel Studios

Ryan Gosling revealed that he wants to play Ghost Rider for Marvel Studios and it is not the first time that an actor has made known his intentions to bring a certain hero to the screen and it becomes a reality. If we remember (here if you did not see “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” we recommend that you do not continue reading to avoid SPOILER) it was the case of John Krasinski with the fantastic Reed Richards, who became real in the film.

For his part, Gosling is about to release the film “The Gray Man” on Netflix, a film that has more than one point of contact with Marvel. On the one hand, it is directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, who made some of the most epic films of their MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe, for its acronym in English and as the set of films and sieries connected to each other is known), such as “Captain America and the Winter Soldier” (2014),  “Captain America: Civil War” (2016) and the closing of the Infinity Saga: “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018) and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019). And in addition, he shares the screen with Chris Evans, the very Captain America of the MCU, and who previously gave life to Johnny Storm / The Human Torch in the films of “The Fantastic 4” of 2005 and 2007.

In this sense, the MTV journalist, Josh Horowitz, denied that Gosling was going to play Nova in the MCU, but at the same time revealed an equally or more valuable information: “there is a superhero who wants to play … Ghost Rider.”

Character who came to the big screen under the interpretation of Nicolas Cage in “Ghost Rider: The Phantom Avenger”, directed by Mark Steven Johnson (“Daredevil”), the same year that Evans premiered “The Fantastic 4 and Silver Surfer”.

To all this, Marvel does prepare a project related to Nova that at the moment it is unknown if it is a movie or a television series, but Sabir Pirzada, one of the writers of “Moon Knight”, will work.

And as far as Gosling and his cinematic path are concerned, we know that he is filming the live-action film “Barbie”, directed by Greta Gerwig, with actress Margot Robbie; shooting of which some images that we show you here were filtered.
