The government gives the SEP a building for its new headquarters in Puebla

The Ministry of Public Education (SEP) already has a new house and this is located in Puebla.
The government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported on Monday, through an agreement published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF), that it determined to give the agency in charge of Delfina Gómez a building in Puebla capital to function as its next headquarters.
It is the property that today corresponds to the Urban Health Center 10 Basic Nuclei, located on Calle 4 Oriente and has an area of one thousand 559.31 square meters.

The granting of the building by the Institute of Administration and Appraisals of National Assets (Indaabin) seeks that the SEP has a space to make its move from Mexico City, as part of the decentralization of federal agencies promised by President López Obrador.
To date, as the president himself has acknowledged, the process is progressing slowly. Among the few agencies that have taken steps along this path is the Ministry of Health, which already has a building based in Acapulco, Guerrero, although it has not completed the transfer of its entire workforce.
The agreement published in the DOF indicates that the SEP will be able to take advantage of the building, but it will not be its owner and, if it gives it a different use than the one foreseen without prior authorization, its service will be removed.
