Trueno premieres “Un paso” ft J Balvin, one of the hidden tracks of his album

Last May, Trueno released “BIEN O MAL”, his second studio album. Of the 15 tracks, there were two that were not yet available. Until now. “Un Paso” has just come out of the Colombian J Balvin, a reference of the most commercial leg of contemporary reggaeton, with a video clip directed by El Dorado and Lucas Vignale and shot in the neighborhood of La Boca at the beginning of last March. It is the fifth single from the album after “Dance Crip”, “Feel Me??”, “Tierra Zanta” ft Víctor Heredia and “Argentina” with Nathy Peluso.

With shout outs to La Mona Jiménez, Daddy Yankee, Tego Calderón and the wrestler and creator of “Titanes en el Ring” Martin Karadagian, the duo reviews the path traveled by the urban movement so far, highlighting the Argentine and Colombian scenes respectively.

“Tell me Thunder, I know you follow me from Quiet / I respect the new school, a couple of killah’s are coming out / I’m a fan of those I respect, I’m a fan of freestyle killah’s / What wave turro? Welcome to the big leagues,” Balvin says in his post, welcoming Mateo to the international mainstream. Let’s remember that José was one of the ambassadors of reggaeton in the United States, having performed at massive festivals such as Coachella.” Un Paso” is a solid reggaeton with melodies reminiscent of the beginnings of the genre – the best in which the Colombian has been seen in a long time. The doubt that surrounded the unprecedented feat was not whether Trueno could properly connect his bars with the wave of Balvin, but quite the opposite: rather if José would be at the height of the flight of the Argentine, and you know what? It was. Congratulations.
