Teacher denounced for alleged sexual abuse against 6 girls in Guanajuato

Six preschool girls allegedly suffered sexual abuse by their teacher at a school in the Camino Real community in Silao, Guanajuato.
A mother reported that in the “José Joaquín Fernández de Lizardi” kindergarten, the teacher covered the windows of the classroom under the pretext that films were projected, “and in that way he hid to touch the girls.”
In addition, the teacher played horror movies to the students, who on at least two occasions left the classes terrified, said the mother.

The accused was identified as Ernesto, who worked as an intern (undergraduate student) and was in charge of 18 minors, boys and girls, who make up the enrollment of the “alternative” preschool, which consists of a small room and bathrooms.

It was on June 24 when the mother of a student reported Ernesto to the authorities; days later the aggressor learned of the charges against him and stopped going to the campus.

The mothers of 5 other girls also proceeded criminally with the testimonies of their daughters, regarding the fact that the scholarship holder touched them in their private parts and threatened them so that they would not tell their family.
Given this, the Guanajuato Women’s Institute offered psychological care for victims of sexual abuse.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education of Guanajuato announced that it initiated an investigation against the teacher.
