Alleged femicide of nurse Adriana Inés arrested in Edomex

Authorities of the State of Mexico arrested José Ángel “N”, alleged femicide of his ex-partner, Adriana Inés, a nurse murdered in the municipality of Valle de Chalco.
According to the version of the Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mexico, on July 23, the 34-year-old man allegedly strangled the young woman after an argument at her home, located in the Avándaro neighborhood, in Valle de Chalco.
José Ángel allegedly loaded Adriana Inés’ body into a car and abandoned it on a dirt road in the municipality of Ozumba, near the Mexico-Cuautla Highway.

A day later, authorities found the body of the 30-year-old woman.

“This individual, allegedly with the purpose of diverting the investigations, reported to this Institution the disappearance of the victim on July 27, however, derived from the inquiries carried out so far, it has been possible to establish the possible relationship of José Ángel ‘N’ in the crime of femicide,” said the Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mexico.
The detainee was admitted to the Chalco Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center where he was placed at the disposal of the Court.
According to official figures, from January to June of this year the State of Mexico has a record of 78 investigation folders for the crime of femicide.
