“The School of Good and Evil” with Charlize Theron, presents its first trailer

Netflix has unveiled a new trailer for “The School of Good and Evil,” the new film featuring Charlize Theron — who also stars in “The Old Guard,” another in the platform’s franchise — a fantastic film that will set audiences in a land of heroes, villains, creatures and enchantments.

In that institution begins each fairy tale. There you choose between two paths: being heroes or villains. This decision will affect the fates of two young friends, whose lives are transformed by being selected to enter the school, which from time to time opens its doors for one or one candidate to enter.

So when Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie) are chosen, they begin to live their own story.

Along with a cast that also includes Laurence Fishburne (“Matrix”), Kerry Washington (“Django without chains”), Michelle Yeoh (“Everything everywhere at the same time”), Jamie Flatters (“Avatar 2”), Kit Young (“Shadow and Bone”), Patti LuPone (“Company”), Rachel Bloom (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”), Peter Serafinowicz (“Peter Serafinowicz Show”), Rob Delaney (“Catastrophe”), Mark Heap (“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”) and the voice of Cate Blanchett as “The Storian”.

Directed by Paul Feig (“Ladies at War,” “Last Christmas: Another Opportunity to Love”), “The School of Good and Evil” adds to the fantastic productions that adapt literary hits such as the series “The Witcher,” “Shadow and Bone” and “Sweet Tooth.” It premieres on Netflix on October 19.
