“Bardo, false chronicle of a few truths” premieres its imposing first trailer and arrives at the San Sebastian Festival

“Bardo, false chronicle of a few truths” launches its imposing and unique first trailer while celebrating its international premiere at the 70th edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival, España.La new film by five-time Oscar winner, Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu (“Birdman or the strange virtue of ignorance” and “The Revenant”), it stars Mexican actor Daniel Giménez Cacho and Argentine actress Griselda Siciliani; who are presenting the film in Europe.

“Bardo, Falsa Crónica de Unas Pocos Verdades” follows Silverio (Giménez Cacho), a renowned Mexican journalist and documentary filmmaker who, after receiving an award, returns to his country in search of answers about his past and identity. In this way he will begin a personal journey from “his family affections, the absurdity of his memories, as well as the past and new reality of his country”, as the synopsis details.

The film will hit Argentine theaters on November 3. A day later it will be available in theaters in the United States and Spain; while in Mexico it can be seen from October 27. After its passage through the big screen, it will land on the Netflix platform on December 16.
