PRI runs out of seats in Congress of Sonora after resignation of 2 deputies

The deputies representing the PRI in the Congress of Sonora, Karina Zárate and Elizabeth Sallard, joined Morena after resigning from the party that nominated them to be part of the current Legislature.
With the integration of both deputies, the parliamentary group of Morena adds 16 deputies and the PRI is left without any representative in the local Congress.
Deputy Karina Zárate said she accepted the invitation of Governor Alfonso Durazo to join his government in Sonora and thus contribute to ensuring the families and the most vulnerable people.

“It is very difficult to be without access to take something to people because at this moment the conditions were not met. In this way, the State Congress is formed as follows:

Morena: 16 deputies.
Citizen Movement: 4
PAN: 3
PT: 3
New Alliance: 2
