CDMX on yellow alert for heavy rains in 8 municipalities

On the afternoon of October 6, heavy rains were recorded in different areas of Mexico City. Due to this, the Secretariat of Integrated and Risk Management issued a red alert in the Cuauhtémoc, Azcapotzalco and Miguel Hidalgo mayor’s office.

It also maintains a yellow alert in 8 more municipalities:

Tláhuac 

Tlalpan
Xochimilco
Venustiano Carranza

Among the affected areas are the center, south and west of Mexico City.

So far, flooding has been reported in Aquiles Serdán esq. Cuauhtémoc, Col. Quirino Mendoza, 30 meters of mirror by 15 cm of strap.
“Personnel of the #SGIRPC removed the garbage accumulated in the drains to lower the water levels,” the agency reported.
Flooding is also reported in Cafetales, Coyoacán mayor’s office.
