Guadalupe Lucero’s mother recounted her experience for the National Meeting of Women: “I feel the struggle in my skin”

The mother of Guadalupe Lucero, the 6-year-old girl who was last seen on June 14, 2021 in the 544 Viviendas neighborhood, south of the city of San Luis, recounted her experience and passed through the 35th edition of the Plurinational Meeting of Women, Lesbians, Trans, Transvestites, Bisexuals, Intersex and Non-Binaries that took place in the province. This year, the demand for the search not to cease and for the appearance of the minor was the axis of the days, where a mobilization was held where those present raised their voices questioning: “Where is Guadalupe?”.

In this context, Yamila Cialone expressed how her perspective on the Encounter changed, and that what did not “identify her before, today I feel it in the skin, in the blood, the struggle and the essence of the encounter, what it means, what it transmits and how exciting it is to see thousands of women screaming, asking for and demanding the same thing all”.

This was detailed from his Facebook account, an active space for dissemination and communication for the search for his daughter. “When they shouted: where is Guadalupe? The echo that was felt from the beginning of the march at the end was impressive, it bristled my skin, it filled me with energy and a terrible desire to shout loudly, with the need for them to listen to the claim of thousands, “continues his letter. ” continues his letter. ” I deeply appreciate being part of it and having been accompanied and well received before the claim of my daughter, for the place and the importance that was given in this meeting to the request of her appearance alive, “he said.

Cialone highlighted how from the Meeting, many women approached to ask for brochures, others wanted their contact to continue communicating and spreading the cause from multiple cities and spaces of the country; some expressed their desire to include Guadeloupe in their campaigns; and also those who took pictures with her. “They couldn’t believe they knew Guada’s mom. They were taken by surprise that I am present at the meeting,” he said, and closed by putting his cause into words once again: “Hopefully next year I can return to the meeting with Guada with me and go together to Bariloche, if the universe allows me. And if not I will be there to continue asking for her. Thank you Plurinational Meeting of Women and Dissidents.”

What is known about the disappearance of Guadalupe Lucero?
So far, the hypothesis that takes more force is that the girl has been captured by force. Line of inquiry that began to follow the statements of his cousins, who played with the girl during that afternoon, and then saw that he was walking away and alerted the family. Some of them said they “covered her mouth,” while another 3-year-old cousin said she saw her leave “with a big girl like Lucy,” referring to an aunt who is in her 20s.

These data describe a woman of about “20 years”, “dressed in black” and that coincided with one of the clues obtained by the Police: from the images of a security camera located 700 meters from the house of Guadalupe’s aunt, that although “the image is very bad” and “looks blurry”,  “a priori you see a woman dressed in black and next to her you can see a silhouette that gives all the impression that she is a girl.” After this, the testimony of a woman from Salta was known, who declared to be a victim of human trafficking and maintained before the authorities -when she was transferred to San Luis- that “that a person who is in charge of a trafficking network had given her information about the kidnapping of the girl and affirmed that she knows where Guadalupe is”. From the day Guadalupe was last seen, Susana Trimarco, marita Verón’s mother and symbol of the fight against sexual exploitation, remained in close communication with Cialone. In addition, he arranged the efforts of his María de los Ángeles Foundation to find the girl, traveled to San Luis and announced that they will be constituted as part of the cause on behalf of the mother.
