Former Minister Hutt versus Senator Cruz-Coke: this Saturday the presidency of Evópoli is defined

During this Saturday will be held the internal elections of Evópoli, where the presidency of the store is at stake. Senator Luciano Cruz-Coke and former minister Gloria Hutt will seek to replace the current president, Luz Poblete, for the next two years.

Senator Luciano Cruz-Coke leads the “Choose Freedom” list, in which one of his greatest proposals is to provide greater political capacity to the party in the constitutional discussion and go beyond the coalition. Sources indicate that it is more linked to the traditional right.

Meanwhile, the former Minister of Transport during the government of Sebastián Piñera, Gloria Hutt, leads the list “Unidos x Evópoli”, in which she seeks to increase the presence of women in the directive and the bases of the party. The sources indicate that he seeks to impose a more liberal look on the party, specifying that for the constitutional discussion he wants it to be clear that his vision is of a “liberal and reformist center-right.”
