Monreal vs Layda
The rivalry between the Morenoites began when the governor of Campeche announced in her program Martes del Jaguar, some alleged messages between Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas, leader of the PRI; and the senator of Morena.
According to these messages, Ricardo Monreal helped “Alito,” as the PRI leader is known, defend himself against the accusations of money laundering and illicit enrichment that the Campeche Prosecutor’s Office made against Moreno Cárdenas.
The governor branded Monreal a traitor and used his influence to help his friend.
Faced with the accusations, Monreal filed an amparo and a criminal complaint to prevent Sansores from continuing to mention him in his program; And although he won a provisional suspension, the governor ignored him and accused him of having more than 40 properties.
