Without permission, they fill the CDMX Metro with AMLO’s march propaganda

On the platforms and trains of the CDMX Metro hundreds of announcements have been placed in which the population is summoned to attend the march that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) will lead next Sunday.
Animal Político consulted the Collective Transport System (STC) to know who had made the request for the placement of said propaganda, to which the Metro confirmed that they had not received any request in this regard, therefore it is not authorized.
They added that tours were carried out for their removal because in addition to not having authorization, the posters have been placed in spaces where it is prohibited, for example, the platforms.

AMLO’s pro-march propaganda placed without permits in the Metro
In order for any type of ads to be placed in the CDMX Metro, including search sheets for missing persons, interested parties must go to the Customer Service, Orientation and Information Management of the STC to request authorization for the placement of the ads.

There each of the posters or sheets is sealed and they are placed the margin of days for which they are authorized to be displayed on the boards of platforms in the different stations of the CDMX Metro.
This is information that also serves the cleaning workers of the agency so that when the authorization expires they can remove them in order to free up space and more advertisements can be placed.
In the advertising, which is not signed, it reads “Let’s celebrate with the President 4 years of transformation” while in the foreground is the image of López Obrador and behind him the image of the Zócalo full of people.
“November 27 9:00 hours. From the Angel of Independence to the Zocalo,” adds the propaganda in a white ribbon and cherry, the institutional colors of Morena.

Poster distribution
During a tour of various Metro stations on lines 1, 2, 3 and 9, Animal Político observed that these posters have been placed mainly on subway cars, in some cases up to two of them per car were detected.
At the Juárez station, on line 3, for example, signs were placed on the side of the ticket offices, as well as on the stairs to change platforms.
This Sunday, and 15 days before the march against the Electoral Reform will take place, the president will lead a mobilization that will serve to know if the people are happy with the transformation.
In a morning conference on Monday, November 21, López Obrador ruled out that the mobilization will be carried, since he affirmed that his government has 70% approval.
At the end of the march, in the capital’s Zocalo, he will render his fourth government report.
