Mendoza: a young woman was killed by a bullet

The victim was identified Valeria Ramírez (26), who last night, around 22, was in a house located in the La Gloria neighborhood, in the town of Godoy Cruz, and received a bullet in the face that caused her death at 1.25 this morning at the Central Hospital. where he resided with the young woman and her 3-year-old son, after making a guard and left his regulation weapon in a sector of the room, according to the defendant at first. Then, according to testimony, he went to the kitchen and it was at that moment that he heard a gunshot, so he said he assumed his 3-year-old son had taken the gun and accidentally fired a shot and wounded his wife. As a result of the shot, Ramírez was transferred to the Central Hospital, in the city of Mendoza, where she was assisted by the doctors on duty for a cardiac arrest and then referred to the operating room for a gunshot wound that entered her through the nose and came out through the chest. After several hours and the effort of the medical staff, Ramírez died this morning because of the wound he received, so the Homicide Prosecutor, Claudia Ríos, was notified, who immediately ordered a series of measures to elucidate the case. Investigation and Scientific personnel of the provincial police went to the house where the incident occurred in order to find elements for the cause. Hours later the policeman appeared and admitted to being responsible for the shooting and not his son as he had stated in his first statement, so he was arrested and it is expected that in the next few hours the prosecutor will charge him with the femicide of his wife.
