Two bodies found on San Jerónimo road, in Zacatecas

Two wrapped bodies were abandoned this Friday on state highway number 181, at the height of the San Jerónimo community, in the municipality of Guadalupe, in Zacatecas.
Once the authorities were alerted to the finding, security elements were mobilized to the place and upon arrival, they confirmed that they were two people who no longer had vital signs.
The bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service for later identification.

The prosecutor’s office opened an investigation folder for the facts.
Yesterday, Zacatecas registered seven intentional homicides; So far in December, there are 37, according to the Federal Government’s daily report.

Latest violent events
In Zacatecas, the violent events do not stop: last weekend there were blockades on roads and vehicles burned on at least four roads in the state, along with an escape attempt in the Cieneguillas prison, which led to a violent riot.
Just on December 4, the control judge Roberto Elías Martínez died after suffering an armed attack while leaving his home. According to information from the authorities, the judge was attacked in his vehicle when leaving his home, located in the Real del Sol neighborhood, in the municipality of Guadalupe.

On November 24, the Coordinator of the National Guard in Zacatecas was killed during an anti-crime operation.
In recent days, there have been several acts of violence in the state. In November, Zacatecas ended with reports of shootings and clashes, particularly in several parts of the municipality of Jerez.
In the state there are already people displaced by violence, in addition classes of all levels have been canceled, as well as activities such as the commemorative parade of the Mexican Revolution.
