Progresar ANSES 2023 Scholarships: registration opens for young people who aspire to study

The executive director of the Anses, Fernanda Raverta, ratified that next month registration for the Progresar 2023 scholarships will be reopened to exceed the current coverage level of 1,700,000 secondary and university students, which will allow expanding the universe of young people who, with the help of the State, can start or complete their training, “achieve goals and a horizon of opportunities”. The decision is part of three key objectives of Raverta’s management, as he explained in an interview with Telam, “increase the scope of Anses benefits, recover lost time in relation to the purchasing power of retirees, and achieve the law that enables a pension payment plan” for workers of retirement age but who lack the total contributions required. The opening of a new registration to the Progresar program contributes to “recover the scope and coverage” of aid for those young people who wish to finish their studies at the compulsory level, in the secondary, in tertiary or in the university and that the State offers through the Anses and the Ministry of Education for 9 years. We want to continue promoting the Progresar scholarship to overcome the level of coverage of December 2022, which was 1,700,000 children, “said the official, and explained that registration is specified by completing a form from the Anses website, in person, in one of the offices of the agency or through an application of the Ministry of Education. From March, an increase is also planned for those who already receive the scholarships, in line with the update of transport prices, teaching material, books and connectivity, among other issues. In 2022, Progresar registered the highest investment since its creation, with 120,000 million pesos executed. We recognize the individual and family effort very much, we value it and we know that there is a lot in the path of development of a family that has to do with that personal commitment to get ahead, but that same effort, in a context of economic model that distributes wealth so that we are all a little better and that allows your child to have a scholarship and can go to university, On the contrary, he added, “that same effort that makes you get up at 6 in the morning to go to work, with a son who has aspirations to go to university but under an economic model that does not value your effort or bring you possibilities, it is not enough for you to make ends meet and grow in your personal development.” The efforts must be accompanied with conditions, with opportunities, with a floor of possibilities so that later that effort bears fruit and is worthwhile and that is the way to beat the discourses of anti-politics: that mothers and fathers see for their children a better horizon and a better perspective of life than they had. Said.
