Culture, an essential element in the Michoacán Festival of Origin

This Thursday the Symphony Orchestra of Michoacán, at the Morelos Theater, is presented.
Morelia, Michoacán. – Artistic and cultural activities continue at the Michoacán de Origen Festival, and this Thursday the Michoacán Symphony Orchestra (OSIDEM) is presented at 7:00 p.m. at the Morelos Theater, with free access, they report through a statement.
It will be conducted by the honorary guest Miguel Ángel García Ramírez, accompanied by the soprano soloist Tania Guadalupe Sánchez Bautista. The program will begin with the Overture to the opera The Barber of Seville by Gioacchino Rossini; Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen, aria from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s opera The Magic Flute; Origins of Morelia; (9′) by Gilberto Darío Durán and Diego Orihuela.
In the Productores Michoacanos pavilion, located on the top floor of the Morelia Convention and Exhibition Center (Ceconexpo), the ballet Uarhári Tsipekua will be presented at 6:30 p.m. You can take the opportunity to learn about the productive vocation of 46 participating municipalities, or the offer of entrepreneurs, from fruits, cheeses, honey, cajeta, mezcal, bread, popsicles and snow, to jewelry and creams.
In the Artisan Corridor, located on the causeway of the poets, the exhibition and sale of pieces belonging to the 16 branches of production awaits you, among them, 60 crafts that have won state competitions. The attention is direct, by 120 architects who offer for high quality products.
From 12:00 to 18:00 hours, girls and boys will have the opportunity to learn in the EmocionARTE school, through the Artistic Stage ¡SEE Musipichu!; Roulette SEE READ! and The World of Mario Bros!.
From 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sapichu: Ciudad Infantil opens its doors for children to enjoy recreational activities, traditional toys, the tricycle track, or to paint their faces with wonderful designs.

In the Industrial Pavilion, located in the Michoacán Hall, and from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., you can use the ship simulator; while in the Michoacán de Origen pavilion you will find the routes of mezcal, cheese, typical sweets, and Michoacán flavors.
The gastronomic area awaits you to taste more than 200 delicious dishes made by the traditional cooks of the seven tourist regions of the state.
The Michoacán de Origen Festival will remain until May 18 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with free admission, and has large and accessible spaces for all people, such as ramps for those who use wheelchairs.
