Gardel Awards 2023: Dante and Trueno won the award for “Best Collaboration of the Year”

Dante Spinetta and Trueno won “Best Urban Music Collaboration” for “Sudaka” and both artists took the stage, again to, this time jointly thank the deserved award in the 25th edition of Los Premios Gardel. Dante began by speaking and recalled that in its beginnings, 30 years ago rap was prohibited, while thanking the new generations. While Trueno did the same and vindicated the “old generations” and greeted those to come for a united Argentina. “This crossing seems important to me,” he said excitedly after lifting the third prize of the night. Remember that the artist who played with Víctor Heredia at the ceremony is the artist who obtained the most nominations in this edition. The ceremony hosted by Iván de Pineda already awarded the prize for “Best Rock Song” that Dante Spinetta took with “Lado oscuro del corazón”, while Bandalos Chinos won “Best Pop Group Album”. Likewise, the distinction “Best Quartet Artist Album” went to Ulises Bueno with “No me pueden parar”; Meanwhile, Los Pericos triumphed in “Best Reggae/Ska Album”. For his part, David Lebón won the award for “Best Rock Artist Album”. Dalila won in the category “Best Tropical Artist Album”; while the “Best tango album” went to Julieta Laso. In addition, “Record of the Year” was taken by Trueno with Nathy Peluso with “Argentina”. While the “Trajectory” award went to Raúl Lavié and Amelita Baltar: “Although they are of another suit, I am here today and I am also there with you,” said the 82-year-old interpreter proudly. “Best Urban Song” went to Bizarrap, who appeared via video, and Quevedo for his Music Session’s 52, which broke all play figures.
