The Orange Movement is working to achieve the right to happiness of the population
Morelia, Mich. – Movimiento Ciudadano works for the right to happiness of Michoacanos, which implies better health, education, security, economy, support for the countryside, among others. To advance more decisively, in 2024 we will become the main opposition force in Michoacán, according to a statement.
In an intense tour of Lázaro Cárdenas, Apatzingán and Pátzcuaro, attended by Toño Carreño Sosa, state coordinator; Víctor Manríquez and Oscar Escobar, deputies of the orange bloc, as well as the national guarantor, Carlos Herrera, agreed that citizens have the right to happiness and for this they need to improve their living conditions.
Toño Carreño Sosa emphasized that we are increasingly good citizens, those who want to participate in the design of public policies that guarantee social welfare and that we are tired of the old practices that still do not give results. So, he celebrated that they are more and more citizens, joining the Orange Movement in different municipalities of the Michoacan geography.
“In Movimiento Ciudadano we are going for united, organized work and we are going to show that Michoacán has a future and putting citizen profiles in decision-making, we are going to change the course of the State, with a different policy in which citizens rule; Let the usual ones tremble because we are going to win 2024.”

In his opportunity, Carlos Herrera indicated that in this new Citizen Movement, the doors are open to those who seek that good things happen in Michoacán as in other states, for example Nuevo León and Jalisco.
“We’re going to put energy into it and show them that things can be done from the inside; We are going to defeat those who are part of the old practices, those who became what they swore to fight.”
Deputies Víctor Manríquez, who is also the national delegate of Movimiento Ciudadano, and Oscar Escobar, coordinator of the orange caucus, agreed that they already take the voice of citizens to the local congress, that which is for the collective benefit and not of groups or parties.
