Morelia, Michoacán.- El Tri, one of the emblematic groups of Mexican rock, made 45 thousand attendees vibrate at the Morelos Stadium where it celebrated its 55 years of trajectory with a great concert, as part of the Jalo Festival, organized by the Government of Michoacán, they reported in a statement.
Previously, the local bands D’bowman, Estévez and the Wet People, Bahía Coco, Fonix and Uriel Ibáñez, performed at the colossus of the Quinceo, to make their musical proposal known to the thousands of Michoacans who arrived at the venue from 4:00 p.m. to be part of this celebration.
“It is a pleasure for us to be here in Morelia, after such a long time of not coming here to rock ‘n’ roll and also, within the framework of the Jalo Festival and celebrating 55 years of rock ‘n’ roll from Mexico to the world, 55 years of rock by El Tri, what better than to celebrate it with the band Purépecha,” said Alex Lora at a press conference.
Meanwhile, Chela Lora highlighted the importance of women in the world of rock. “For many years we invented the day of the rock’n’roll woman, we tried to give her place on stage because women also have a lot to say.”
Metro Balderas, Niño sin amor and Chilango incomprendido, were some of the most emblematic songs that thrilled thousands of fans who came to the Morelos Stadium to enjoy the free festival, aimed at the youth and families of the entity.
During October, Michoacán becomes the epicenter of culture and art, said Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, upon his arrival at the Morelos Stadium to witness the first of three free concerts of the Jalo Festival, after inaugurating the 21st edition of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), highlighting that the entity is prepared to receive tourists and visitors.
To conclude, Alex Lora expressed: “May God bless the rock ‘n’ roll race of Morelia, may God bless the Jalo Festival and, long live rock ‘n’ roll!”
