Lollapalooza revealed its 2024 line-up day by day: who will be there

After the long-awaited announcement of the lineup for its ninth edition, Lollapalooza Argentina shares what each day of the great music festival that will take place between Friday, March 15 and Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the San Isidro Hippodrome will be like.With diversity as a flag, each day brings together shows of the most varied genres to celebrate some of the most talented figures on the entire current scene. #LollaAR stays true to its spirit: international and local artists, established stars and emerging figures worth getting to know will shine on the five stages every day. The opening day will be headlined by pop-punk pioneers Blink-182, who will be coming to Argentina for the first time and with their original line-up. This first day will also feature the presentation of Arcade Fire, the chameleonic alternative rock band from Canada, moving between punk funk, nods to disco, electro resources, and dazzling live performances full of rotating instruments. The local highlight? YSY A, the Argentinian rapper and trapper with overwhelming energy. In addition, for rock and punk lovers, the day will offer the show of The Offspring and Jaden, a young artist who has been working with Travis Barker, the drummer of Blink-182, as well as the locals Winona Riders, Pacifica and Mujer Cebra. In the line of urban music will be the Spaniard Saiko, the Chilean Jere Klein, the Mexican who fuses these sounds with electronic resources Nsqk, the Peruvian JAZE and the Argentinian rapper Oney1. For those who like electronica, there will be Diplo, one of the strongest figures in EDM, Dom Dolla, the Australian whose name is indispensable in the house scene, the DJ and producer MK, the French duo The Blaze, as well as the Argentines Mariano Mellino, Evlay and Peces Raros. The ever-current classic of Latin American music Cristian Castro will bring together lovers of the song, while pop will have its place with Fletcher, Juliana Gattas and Juana Rozas. Grupo Frontera will bring a bit of regional Mexican to the festival, at a time when the genre has gained a prominent place on a global scale.

The second day will have the superstar who renewed the R&B SZA scene as headliner along with the iconic Sam Smith in a day where pop will be preponderant and will bring together Miranda!, the Argentinian band that is always avant-garde pop and guaranteed fun, the American actress and singer Dove Cameron, the R&B of Omar Apollo, the Mexican Kenia Os, and the Argentines Lucca Bocci, FERMIN, Santi Muk. As for rock, on Saturday the 16th it will feature the French band Phoenix, with more than 20 years at the top of indie, The Driver Era with a more alternative sound, Nothing But Thieves and the Argentines Koino Yokan. In addition, the day will feature Jungle, the band that has been setting the course in dance music. The sounds of electronica will also be represented by the powerful British trance and progressive trio Above & Beyond, Timmy Trumpet, Loud Luxury, Chico Blanco Live and the Argentinian Franzizca. Different Latin sounds will be present with Robleis, Latin Mafia, BM, Santi Celli. Urban music could not be missing: there will be shows by Mechayrxmeo and ill Quentin, as well as several emerging figures from different musical genres to discover.
The closing day will put the finishing touch to another unforgettable weekend of #LollaAR. FEID is the first Latin American to occupy the main slot of the festival, where he will play his reggaeton hits, sometimes more electronic, sometimes more hip hop. Heading the line-up that Sunday will also be the legendary nu metal band Limp Bizkit, as well as HOZIER, the Australian with a unique voice who once again places folk at the centre of the music scene. Thirty Seconds to Mars will bring a dose of alternative rock and their famous self-confidence on stage, while the Italian house trio Meduza will lead the way in terms of electronica in a day that will also bring the producer and singer of Chinese origin Zhu, and the French Dombresky. Rina Sawayama will participate with her provocative pop, the locals Bandalos Chinos will play their Argentine pop hits and Dayglow will undoubtedly make everyone dance with their retro synthesizers. Trap will shine at the hands of Bhavi. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard will sweep by dint of psychedelia, Pierce the Veil will represent hardore, Mexican singer León Larregui and Ximena and the Argentinian band El Zar will sound at the crossroads of rock and pop in a closing that will have, as always, new names to know and keep in their sights.
