El Mató a un Policía Motorizado presented “Super Terror” in an exploded Villa Crespo Arena

Last Saturday, June 16, El Mató a un Policía Motorizado made its debut at the Arena de Villa Crespo. With the excuse of presenting once their latest and acclaimed album, “Super Terror”, and some other new songs, they filled the Buenos Aires venue with their music. The concert opened with “El Magnetismo”, highlighting the imposing voice of Santi Motorizado, who interacted with the complicity of the audience present throughout the night. The repertoire included more than twenty songs, both new and classic, full of postcards such as when “El Universo” was played accompanied only by the piano, and the road to the end with “Excalibur” and the entire stadium illuminated by the cell phones on. The closing, with the ovation of the audience, was with “Mi próximo movimiento”, one of the iconic songs for the fans of El Mató released in 2008, thus culminating a truly memorable night. After a sweeping 2023, including a national and international tour for the release of “Super Terror”, and two sold-out shows at Luna Park, El Mató has not let its guard down this year. In addition to having been the opening band for INTERPOL’s tour in the USA, with presentations in Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, Mesa, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, the band from La Plata continued their tour with the album in London, Dublin and Barcelona, participating in the Primavera Sound festival in Spain. As if that were not enough, they had the luxury of participating in the album “Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense” being the only group from Latin America that was part of this project, along with artists of the stature of Miley Cyrus, Paramore, Lorde and The National, among others.
