“Hudson & Rex”: mystery and smell in the new police series with John Reardon

The cases of a detective and his pair make up the new Canadian series “Hudson & Rex”, which stars John Reardon (“… and where are the blondes?”, “Tron: The Legacy”, “The Killing”). Based on the acclaimed Austrian-Italian production “Kommissar Rex” (or “Il commissario”)

This duo is joined by a cast that is composed of the performances of Mayko Nguyen (“ReGenesis”) as Dr. Sarah Truong, chief coroner of the St. John’s Police Department; Kevin Hanchard (“Orphan Black”) as Superintendent Joseph Donovan, Donovan, leader of the Major Crimes Division; and Justin Kelly (“Última Onda”) as Jesse Mills, the unit’s technology specialist. Directed by Felipe Rodriguez, Alison Reid and John Vatcher, it premieres its 16 episodes weekly every Thursday at 10 p.m. on AXN.
