President Javier Milei will travel again to the United States to participate in a conference organized by an investment bank at the Sun Valley Lodge. In a lightning visit, he plans to leave this Thursday and return on Sunday. It will be the third time he visits that country since he took office. The conference, known as “a summer camp for billionaires” by Business Insider, brings together top leaders in technology and media. This meeting, which began on Wednesday, has become over the years a key space where various media and economic agreements have been sealed. As reported by Ámbito Financiero, for this year the Sun Valley conference will focus on the discussion of the future of the industry. Milei’s last trip to the United States was in May, when he visited San Francisco and met with representatives of Silicon Valley technology companies, including Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI; Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google; Tim Cook, CEO of Apple; and Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook and CEO of Meta.Although it has not yet been officially confirmed from Casa Rosada, it is expected that the delegation that will accompany the President on his new trip will be made up of the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei, and the head of the Council of Economic Advisors, Demian Reidel.
