This extension of isolation is due to the cumulative incidence per 100 thousand inhabitants that in Formosa “is 1,425” which triples “what the national standard provides for to determine the epidemiological alarm”. There are currently 5,956 active cases, 35 in transit with departure from the province and 637,470 tests were performed, yielding a 6.27% cumulative positivity. Let us recall that Decree of Necessity and Urgency No. 381/21 of the National Executive, empowers the governors of the provinces to take additional measures in response to the epidemiological and sanitary conditions of each district in order to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19. The infectious doctor, Julián Bibolini, reported:
“Taking into account that the cumulative incidence rate per 100 thousand inhabitants in the province of Formosa is 1,425, tripling what the national standard provides for to determine the epidemiological alarm in the country”, and that “the community viral circulation of the P1 Manaus variant multiplies the contagion capacity of the virus, the Covid-19 Emergency Care Council decided to extend the sanitary measures currently in force until Friday, June 18 inclusive”
That is why from the province of Formosa they decided to extend their isolation.
