Luca Bocci and Nico De Sanctis from Indios released their debut album with Tango Astral

The singer-songwriter and producer from Mendoza Luca Bocci and the composer, singer and guitarist from Rosario Nicolás De Sanctis released their first self-titled album. A nostalgic and sensual pop album that plays with an aesthetic of the porteño as its axis, rooted in an Argentine sound inherited from the Alfonsinist spring. Ten irreverent, classic and at the same time modern songs that express with poetics and metaphor mixed sensations of the Argentine reality. A melting pot of styles and emotions that paint surreal landscapes that dialogue with love, heartbreak, the esoteric and the empirical. The genesis of Tango Astral dates back to February 2023 when Bocci and de Sanctis embarked on the creation of music. What began as a hot afternoon in the square with two guitars, soon became an avalanche of compositions throughout the summer. The methods of composition were diverse, from marathon sessions in the apartment to improvisations in squares and bars. As they built up a repertoire, they headed to the studio to record the songs. During one such session, the crucial question emerged: what are we doing? The answer was the inspiration for the name of the duo: “something like an astral tango”. Luca Bocci, renowned singer-songwriter and producer from Mendoza who has worked with Simón Poxyran, Dogs on the Beach, Usted Señalemelo and Mi Amigo Invencible and has three solo albums. Nicolás de Sanctis is a musician, composer and guitarist born in the city of Rosario, Santa Fe. He is part of the band Indios, where he has written most of his songs. In 2018 he began his solo career in parallel and has released two studio albums.
